Children

I have had the privilege of working with hundreds of children in school settings, supporting a wide range of needs including ADHD, anxiety, and depression. Many of the children I work with are navigating family transitions, such as divorce or single-parent household dynamics, which can often contribute to emotional and behavioral challenges.

I use a child-centered approach that incorporates play therapy, art therapy, and developmentally appropriate talk therapy to encourage engagement and expression in a natural, supportive way. Sessions are flexible and designed to meet each child where they are, helping them feel safe, understood, and empowered in the therapeutic process.

Family involvement is an important part of treatment, as collaboration with caregivers helps reinforce progress and support meaningful, lasting change. Together, we focus on building communication skills, healthy coping strategies, and emotional regulation to support overall growth and well-being.
